One Hundred Dollars will Bring Them Through the Winter Months
The economic conditions in Eastern Europe and Russia are extremely depressed. Because unemployment is rampant, many people are trying to make a living from small “farms” i.e. a small acreage, a few cows and sheep. Although Eastern Europe and Russia are not third-world countries, the tragic reality is that people are suffering and some even dying of poverty, cold, and hunger, especially during the winter months. The costs of food, electricity and heating oil are unaffordable for many citizens. Many families have only one meal a day. COAH renders assistance to church families by providing monthly food packages and financial supplements to pay for heating costs. Truckload shipments of food and clothing for distribution by the local churches are sent to the countries which have the greatest need.

YOU MUST READ THIS! You can almost feel the hunger and thirst as you read the responses from many in the former Soviet Union for the books that are being distributed by the thousands!
