Christian Literature Distributed in the Former Soviet Union
Dear Friends: Come Over and Help Organization is in the process of distributing thousands of books of the Puritans to the pastors and bible teachers of the former Soviet Union. We need funds to continue this work so that the pastors can use these books all over Russia and the former Soviet Union. The response to the writings of Brakel, Calvin, Watson, Flavel, Matthew Henry and later writings of J. C. Ryle and McCheyne, and others, is truly astonishing to us. They are pleading with us to send more of these books. The Matthew Henry Commentary is especially useful to the pastors and bible teachers. They use it daily in the Russian language to study Scripture and learn the faithful interpretation of many texts. Since many lack adequate theological training this work of literature distribution is especially helpful.
We labor with this work across the 11 time zones of the huge country of Russia in the remote villages of Siberia. New requests continue to come in regularly for more books. We pray for your help to support this ministry because the need is very great. Long after we are no longer on this earth these books can be of great help to the churches and pastors in the future generations. With book distribution we can accomplish a great deal of work in support of these Christians, which otherwise would be impossible due to the great distance and expense to bring theological instructors to these remote regions of Eastern Europe and Russia. May the Lord bless you and your gifts for His honor and glory and the salvation of many sinners. The day of all days will show the true results of this mission effort when the Lord shall gather all the saints together and the Lord shall wipe away all tears. Then the church of God will sing, all in the same language, and all will be to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ forever.
